Team Minimum Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
Blue Card (QLD) or Ochre Card (NT)
First Aid & CPR (HLTAID004 Childcare first aid “ACECQA approved”)
Driver’s License (P or Opens)
Safe and reliable vehicle (with road safety certificate)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Hold a current public liability insurance policy
Be punctual and presentable

Desired Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience with children under 16 years of age
Qualified in or studying towards a minimum Certificate III in Childcare, Education or Health related qualifications

Post Interview Requirements

Vehicle Road Worthy may be required
Police Check (current within 6 months)
Public Liability Insurance must be held by all team members
All team members must hold an Australian Business Number (ABN)

Join our Care Team

Our care team is comprised of those who are interested in providing care in home, venue or accommodation for children birth – 16 years of age. Care Types may include; babysitting, nanny, mothers helper, on call labour nanny, before and after school care and more. Opportunities for those who are interested in overnight care, temporary live in placements and travelling care placements are also encouraged to apply.

In mid-late 2020 Little Wonders will be commencing recruitment for a Southern QLD Area’s Co-rdinator. Co-ordinator will be responsible for connecting with clientele, recruitment, home visits and may include set up and styling for weddings and functions

Individuals with experience in managing a team, customer service and event management are encouraged to apply

Is Little Wonders Right for Me?

Deciding whether you feel it’s worth becoming a nanny is up to you – we are looking for those that want to be here and who genuinely want to be a part of our team! 95% of our positions to require frequent commitment whether it be before/after school care, regular hours, creche nannies or for full time care. The perks are the additional casual babysitting and our weddings and functions nanny placements. Positions are casual as needed however can extend to more frequent care. You are free to apply for as many positions within our team as you desire providing, they do not conflict each other and inconvenience families. If you’re looking for babysitting here and there this probably isn’t your thing but if you are thinking of committing to around 5+ hours a week/fortnight you have definitely come to the right place!
